MIPAR Data Privacy and Security

MIPAR is committed to protecting customer data and respecting user privacy across all interactions with our software and services. MIPAR products operate entirely on customer premises, ensuring that data remains under the full control of the organization.

We do not collect, transmit, process, or store analysis data including images, outputs, or project files outside of the customer environment. MIPAR does not access or monitor customer systems. Data sovereignty is maintained at all times.

The only customer information we collect relates to licensing, support communications, and product updates. This includes limited business information such as name, business email, organization, and country. We do not collect personal or sensitive data unrelated to the operation of our licensing or support systems. All information submitted is stored securely, access is restricted to authorized personnel, and no customer information is sold or shared with third parties.

MIPAR’s local deployment model enables customers to comply with data protection regulations including GDPR, HIPAA, FERPA, and other security and privacy frameworks.

For customers choosing to activate or update MIPAR software over the internet, secure channels are used. However, internet connectivity is optional, and all core functionality including installation, activation, and AI analysis can operate offline.

AI Data Privacy

MIPAR products include AI and machine learning technologies designed to assist in the automated analysis of imaging data. These capabilities are subject to the same strict privacy and control principles that apply across all MIPAR systems.

All AI models deployed in MIPAR software execute locally. No customer image data, inference outputs, or feature measurements are transmitted to MIPAR or to any third parties.

MIPAR’s embedded AI models are pre-trained and static. We do not retrain, fine-tune, or otherwise alter these models based on customer data unless explicitly requested and contractually authorized by the customer.

MIPAR software does not perform telemetry reporting, cloud-based inference, or automatic model updates that could expose customer data. Customers maintain full control over when and how any updates to models or software are applied.

This architecture ensures that customers retain total ownership and confidentiality over their imaging data and AI analysis results, supporting compliance with internal governance policies and external regulatory standards.

Security Practices

While MIPAR products provide maximum privacy by design through their on-premises deployment, we also implement robust security practices across our licensing, support, and update systems:

Data Minimization: We collect only the business contact details necessary for licensing, communications, and support. No analysis data is collected.

Secure Transmission: Optional internet-based license activation and update processes use secure HTTPS communications.

Controlled Access: Access to customer licensing and support records is limited to authorized MIPAR personnel operating under strict confidentiality agreements.

Infrastructure Security: Customer communications and licensing systems are maintained in secure hosting environments subject to industry-standard security controls and periodic review.

No External Dependencies: Core analysis functions do not rely on external services or APIs during use. Customers are never required to maintain an internet connection to operate MIPAR software securely.

Customers are responsible for securing their internal IT environments where MIPAR software is deployed. Recommended best practices include standard access control measures, secure storage of sensitive project files, and system-level security appropriate to the customer’s regulatory and organizational requirements.
