By combining robust Deep Learning models with conventional image analysis approaches, MIPAR quickly and accurately detects individual aluminum grains. Once detected, grain size can be automatically measured using classic diameter and area measurements or following the ASTM E112 standard. By detecting individual grains, MIPAR enables size, shape, and orientation characterization, providing valuable insights into aluminum properties.
